Are you a nature lover, committed and want to do physical outdoor work this summer? Utladalen Naturhus Foundation and Utladalen Nasjonalparksenter AS have 4 vacancies as maintenance workers/tourist hosts for the summer season 2025. The Utladalen Naturhus Foundation is responsible for the cultural landscape management in Heimre Utladalen. The main goal of the management is to preserve the cultural landscape and important natural types, safeguard biodiversity and nature restoration. Utladalen Nasjonalparksenter AS operates a visitor center for the national park with an exhibition and a small café with simple food and a small store. Those who are hired are mainly maintenance workers, but some take shifts as tourist hosts in the national park center.
Working period:
Mainly June - August 2025, but at least one person is needed in the period May - October.

Qualifications and job duties:
You must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and be physically able to perform physically demanding work. We primarily seek candidates over the age of 18, but younger applicants may be considered.
The work involves working with mowers, clearing saws and various other tools. Other work that may occur, such as cleaning, supervising grazing animals, maintaining trails, helping at events, etc., must also be taken into account. The care work is carried out both down in Utladalen with ATVs as a means of transport, but also up on the mountainside, along trails and around stables. You will mostly work together with others in a work team, and the work manager (day manager) will follow up on the work. Training is provided at the start of the work period. All equipment and protective equipment is available at the workplace
Some of the work involves being a tourist host at Utladalen National Park Center (about 1 day a week). You will then be responsible for the café/exhibition and the work here involves selling goods in the café/shop, simple serving and answering questions from visitors.
If there are applicants who are particularly suited to work more in care, or to work more in the café, some arrangements may be made for that. However, one must be prepared to have to perform both jobs during periods when others are off.

You would like to have experience with care and care equipment (not a requirement)
